New CFP: Spring Magazine

fbbannerSpring Magazine on English Literature invites papers for its next issue, which will be published in December 2016. Details at http://www.springmagazine.net/call-for-papers. Original contributions on any aspect of English Literature are invited. While the issue would be Open, authors are requested to consider the following suggested areas while preparing their papers:

  • Re-interpreting canonical texts.
  • Current trends in World Literature.
  • Book Reviews.
  • Anecdotal articles on teaching/learning literature.
  • Creative writing: Poems, Short stories (Only from students).

Instructions:

  • Length: 1500-3000 words, including notes and references.
  • Latest MLA style-sheet should be strictly followed.
  • Use only endnotes, and that too if strictly necessary.
  • Papers that do not adhere to word limit and MLA style-sheet will be summarily rejected.
  • Authors whose papers are found to be plagiarized would be blacklisted.
  • Send a short bio-note of not more than 60 words.
  • Use your own or copyright-free pictures if necessary.

There is NO publication fee.

Deadline for Submission: October 31, 2016.

Contributors would be intimated of the acceptance/rejection of their articles on November 15, 2016; and are requested not to mail or call regarding the same beforehand.

The magazine is intended for the students of B.A (Honours) and M.A in English in India mainly. Authors (teachers, research scholars, students) can contribute critical writings for addressing the following areas:

  • Analytical discussion of the popular canonical texts prescribed in various universities.
  • Focusing on current trends in English literature worldwide.
  • Alternative viewpoints to established interpretations of various texts.
  • Essays on developing creative talents and applied professional skills of students.
  • Guidance and information for M.A entrance test in various universities and other tests like NET.
  • Guidelines for preparing students for PhD, MPhil research.

How to Prepare Essays

  • An essay can be of 150-3000 words with references.
  • MLA style-sheet reference system should be followed.
  • Include Endnotes only.
  • Send a short bio-note of not more than 60 words along with a small (not more than 100px in width).
  • Use your own or copyright-free or CC-licensed pictures if necessary.

We are very happy to announce that our Spring Magazine on English Literature has been assigned ISSN (Online): 2455-4715. Now we are inviting suitable writings from teachers, scholars and students. From 2016 we will follow Continuous Publication Model. In other words, once the review is complete the articles will be made available online and later on they will be grouped under an issue quarterly.
